Deskripsi Proyek TA : Center Point Ballet Academy is an architectural and interior design project for a ballet academy designed by Archiv Studio. Located in Citraland Surabaya with land area of 1189,5 sqm. The vision of this building is to foster and develop children’s love for the art of ballet. A place to create dreams and make them happen.

Inspired by ‘The Sugar Plum Fairy ‘ character from the Nutcracker story  that is often performed during the Christmas holidays, therefore many children watch ballet for the first time through the story of the Nutcracker. It is not only a symbol of grandeur and hope, but also a symbol of childhood dreams that bring young ballerinas to love ballet. This Building adapts that symbolization by applying it as a concept.

In terms of layout, the concept is applied through the distribution of ballet facilities on each floor that reflects the dreaming process. In terms of ambiance, sugar plum fairy is identical to ‘royal’ in a classic style, elegant, and little sparkling. Therefore the style used is neo-classical with simple yet elegance and dominant color of white, baby pink, and touch of gold as in the sugar plum fairy’s costume.

As for the aspect of Interior branding, the application of the clear vision aspect is achieved through the placement of logos in strategic places. Then the unique story aspect is achieved through the naming of the space that reflects the dreaming process, which is in the studio, beliefs’ theater, practice ‘and learn’ studio. Finally, the Energy aspect is achieved by placing the main studio next to the entrance to give a strong first impression.
